On-site Physiotherapy

We understand that maintaining mobility and independence is of the utmost importance for our Residents’ wellbeing. For this reason, Grosvenor Villas has an on-site physiotherapist, meaning that Grosvenor Villas’ Residents benefit from their input free-of-charge. The physiotherapist carries out an initial assessment on mobility, and subsequent mobility care plan reviews thereafter.

Our Residents can also opt to purchase an intensive Premium Physiotherapy Package to work on a targeted area. We know that starting a new service can be daunting, especially when it is focused on physical activity. If you are unsure if the Premium Physiotherapy Package is for you, you can request a free Taster Week by speaking with the Home Manager. Such a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The carers and nurses are so lovely and patient with the residents and visitors. They all work extremely hard and are absolute angels. My wife suffers from psychosis, hearing tormenting voices. At Lavender Villa, the staff are caring, warm and kind. At a previous home, my wife was saying no to meal choices and food was left to go cold. She lost so much weight she ended up in hospital. At Lavender, she is offered alternative snacks if says no to meals. At Lavender Villa, she feels safe and it is a lot better visiting her.

My mother has just celebrated her 105th birthday and has been a resident since July 2023. She is very happy and the family are all pleased with the care and attention she receives. She is always telling us how lovely all the staff are and how she enjoys her meals. I do not think the care and attention can be faulted in any way. This means that the family have peace of mind knowing that she is so well looked after.

We received a warm welcome and every question was answered in a professional and friendly manner. The manager reassured both me and my mum and allayed our anxieties. I cannot express the admiration I have for Orchid Villa. The quality care the manager and all the staff show towards my dad displays professionalism, dignity and kindness. While this will never be an ideal situation, I am comforted with the knowledge that my dad is in the best place possible suited to his needs for which I cannot convey my thanks enough to all the staff.

The villa manager shows great leadership which reflects in her staff. The food is excellent. We have just had an amazing Jubilee party for everyone which we all enjoyed. The staff are amazing, the care and support my mum receives are exceptional, she is engaged and staff are always on hand. Orchid Villa is very well maintained, always clean and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are great, and my mum's room is perfect and always clean. The regular activities offered are great for my mum, and she loves to get involved. The amazing Jubilee party the staff worked extremely hard to make happen was a wonderful, a day and memories as a family we will cherish forever.

I cannot fault Orchid Villa in any aspect of my husbands care in this home. The Staff are cheerful and kind and treated my husband with great dignity at all times. He was always clean, shaven, and dressed in freshly laundered clothes and the food was truly amazing and varied. They were very vigilant in reporting any ailment, no matter how minor, that he may have had, and I was truly reassured that he was being cared for in a kind and dignified manner.
