Bluebell Villa welcomed Vine Junction for a special wine tasting session, where they shared stories, traditions and the ancients root of Georgian wine making. Bluebell was filled with a warm atmosphere that felt both homely and exciting.
We learned that Georgians were the very first community to develop wine production, dating back to 5980 BC. Our Residents sampled a selection of Georgian wines made using ancient techniques and enjoyed traditional food such as Khachapuri, corn breads and walnut cake.
A heartfelt thank you to Giorgi for brining Georgian heritage to life – it was a lovely day of learning, tasting and sharing moments together.
