This week marked a very special moment for Cedar Care Homes, as we officially opened Bluebell Villa, our new wing at Grosvenor Villas in Chester. We were also pleased to welcome the Chester Standard to share this milestone with us and help tell the story of Bluebell Villa’s opening.
It was a proud and emotional day to finally welcome our first Resident, Joyce Kaye, and see her cut the ribbon alongside Minal and Arjun Desai. It was a simple moment, but one that truly brought Bluebell Villa to life.
Bluebell Villa has been carefully designed to support people living with the early stages of dementia, with familiar interiors, calm spaces and thoughtful details throughout. From the 1960s-inspired sitting area to the cinema room, courtyard, family room and on-site physiotherapy, every space has been created to help Residents feel comfortable, engaged and at home.
We are incredibly proud of everyone involved in bringing this vision to life, and we look forward to the many moments, memories and relationships that will grow here in the years ahead.
