On-site Physiotherapy

We understand that maintaining mobility and independence is of the utmost importance for our Residents’ wellbeing. For this reason, St Teresa’s has an on-site physiotherapist, meaning that St Teresa’s Residents benefit from their input free-of-charge. The physiotherapist carries out an initial assessment on mobility, and subsequent mobility care plan reviews thereafter.

Our Residents can also opt to purchase an intensive Premium Physiotherapy Package to work on a targeted area. We know that starting a new service can be daunting, especially when it is focused on physical activity. If you are unsure if the Premium Physiotherapy Package is for you, you can request a free Taster Week by speaking with the Home Manager. My wife has been a resident at this home since October 2022. Wherever I take her in her wheelchair, everyone seems to know her, call her by name, greet her with a smile, touch her hand and sometimes a cuddle. A lot of effort goes into providing entertainment and recreational activities. My daughter and I have been very happy that we chose St Teresa's.
