The Oakhill Mansions team decided to take music to another level. They managed to get an electric drum set, and it has been popular between the residents and the staff. After a recent piano arrival, they are just a bass guitar away from their own Oakhill soft rock band. You can see a short clip of “the rehearsals”.
Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s society
Residents and staff from Arbour Walk decided to support Alzheimer’s society by organising a Memory Walk in their neighbourhood.
Despite a few cancellations due to poor weather conditions, it didn’t stop them from completing the walk on a beautiful sunny Saturday, the 9th of October.
We want to thank all participants who came and supported our residents with the trip. They managed to walk a couple of miles and raise fabulous £435 for the Alzheimer’s Society from your kind donations.

A Gold Star for Mariya!
Today at Oakhill Mansions we have awarded Mariya, our Domestic Assistant, a Gold Star as a symbol of her hard work. Mariya is working on the busiest floor in the building and even though, she manages to keep the place spotless! Her colleagues are describing her as a very hard working, dedicated person who would never refuse help anyone if they need it. Congrats Mariya! 💪
