On-site Physiotherapy

We understand that maintaining mobility and independence is of the utmost importance for our Residents’ wellbeing. For this reason, Larkhall Springs has an on-site physiotherapist, meaning that Larkhall Springs’ Residents benefit from their input free-of-charge. The physiotherapist carries out an initial assessment on mobility, and subsequent mobility care plan reviews thereafter.

Our Residents can also opt to purchase an intensive Premium Physiotherapy Package to work on a targeted area. We know that starting a new service can be daunting, especially when it is focused on physical activity. When my father first moved into Larkhall Springs he was completely bedridden and hardly able to move at all. All the staff have been amazing, kind, attentive and caring I have been so reassured knowing that a team effort has helped my father settle in. He has been having physio with one staff member who has achieved in my eyes the un achievable, Dad is now out of bed and able to stand and walk a little bit with assistance. I cannot recommend or thank her enough, you are a star!

I have always been very happy with the home, staff and manager. Nothing is too much trouble and always there if I have a worry, staff explain all that is going on health-wise. The staff are very friendly, make you feel at ease and we have a laugh. The home is kept spotless and lunch and all food looks amazing. Thank you.

I am very pleased with the high standard of care and nursing my wife receives at this nursing home. Following a fall which resulted in a broken hip, the home was advised to provide "end of life care" for her, since a replacement hip was not an option due to her frailty. The care and compassion she received was outstanding and some 12 months later she is still with us. Both I and my family have also separately noticed how genuinely kind and pleasant the staff are to the other residents.
