Our Care Services

Every person’s care needs are unique, which is why we take time to understand not just what support each resident needs, but how they prefer to receive it. Our experienced team provides both residential and nursing care, tailored to individual needs:

On-site Physiotherapy

We understand that maintaining mobility and independence is of the utmost importance for our Residents’ wellbeing. For this reason, Waltham House has an on-site physiotherapist, meaning that Waltham House’s Residents benefit from their input free-of-charge. The physiotherapist carries out an initial assessment on mobility, and subsequent mobility care plan reviews thereafter.

Our Residents can also opt to purchase an intensive Premium Physiotherapy Package to work on a targeted area. We know that starting a new service can be daunting, especially when it is focused on physical activity. If you are unsure if the Premium Physiotherapy Package is for you, you can request a free Taster Week by speaking with the Home Manager. More details on our Premium Physiotherapy Packages can be found here.

What Our Residents Say

Real Stories, Real People

We were very apprehensive placing Mum into a care home, but we have been very pleased with Waltham House. The staff are lovely, very friendly & helpful, and Mum has told me this many times. I feel she is in safe hands. I feel I can approach the staff with any concerns, and they will address them. They are great at communicating.

Daughter of Resident 15 May 2025

My mother has been a resident for over eight years (now) and she's very well looked after in all her needs. Management and all staff are polite and caring and very efficient. If you do have a problem they attend to it instantly. I feel happy to leave my mum in their care, when I go home after after visiting and have peace of mind she's safe.

Daughter of Resident 31 January 2025

My nan is now in her 90s. Since being at Waltham House she has been very happy. Every time I visit her she is clean and happy. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. They are very welcoming and nothing is a problem. The food is great and always warm and advertising. My nan's room is spotless and clean every day. The standard of care is amazing.

Granddaughter of Resident 31 January 2025

Nothing but outstanding excellence in the care and treatment of my dad on respite. Staff always on hand, nothing too much trouble, healthy food choices and an excellent clean environment. Dad has really enjoyed being there and would approach them again if respite is needed.

Daughter of Resident 23 August 2024

My uncle moved into Waltham House, December 2021. I have nothing but praise for all the hard-working staff. The administration and nursing staff are always available to discuss any issues if they should arise. The carers are very patient and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is excellent and always beautifully presented - coffee/tea, biscuits/cake are available for the residents' visitors if they are visiting whilst staff are doing their rounds with the tea/coffee trolley. The cleanliness is to be commended. I would certainly recommend Waltham House to my family and friends!
