Physiotherapy is important for many of our Residents as it helps maintain and improve mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. As we age, physical activity becomes even more crucial for reducing pain or discomfort and preventing falls. For Residents with dementia or mental health conditions physiotherapy can provide calming routines, enhance cognitive function, and foster a sense of well-being through gentle, structured exercises.
Our physiotherapy service has been developed to meet the unique needs of our Residents. Cedar Care physiotherapists specialise in elderly care, bringing an understanding and sensitivity that ensures every session is as effective as it is compassionate.
Our physiotherapists work hand in hand with nurses and care assistants who know the Residents best to ensure continuity of treatment and best possible health outcomes. This collaborative, innovative, in-house approach is receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from Residents and their loved ones.
By purchasing a premium package, our Residents can skip the NHS waiting list, and physiotherapy can begin immediately on the day of admission. Progress in recovery journey is closely monitored with regular updates provided to the Resident and their next of kin.
A free taster week can be requested on or prior to admission. Flexible scheduling allows physiotherapy to fit around Residents daily routine. Whilst only some of our homes have an onsite Physiotherapist, we are able to arrange premium packages in our other homes too. Please ask the home manager of your chosen home about this service.
By choosing Cedar Care you will take the first step towards better health and mobility.
